A little trip to the bookstore

Hey beauties! So I know that the last time I posted a blog post was ages ago but I'm back. A couple of days ago I went to The Works (it's a bookstore) and I saw that they were having a ' 3 books for £5' deal and so obviously, being the book lover that I am, I had to get some books.

From left to right:
1- The Mortal Instruments, City of Bones (Book 1)

2- Midnight Alley (The Morganville Vampires Book 3)

3- Geek girl - Model misfit (Book 2)

Here's a little preview of The mortal Instrument, City of Bones book and this probably has to be one of my favourite books of all time. If you love books about action, fantasy's and a bit of romance then this is the book for you. I've also seen the movie to it and I absolutely love it. However I have to say that the book is a tad bit better than the movie, maybe because it's got a bit more detail to the story. I can't wait to read the other books from The mortal Instruments series and if you have read the book then you'll know the ending to this story, which for me was a huge shock!

Tell me in the comments what your favourite book is!

Awesome Shoes to wear this Autumn ft. New Look

So like any normal girl, I love shoes. Since it's officially Autumn now, I decided to show you my favourite boots from New Look, but some of them are wedged, ankle and high leg boots. I've always
loved New Look, they always have great stock for Autumn/Winter and their prices are sometimes a bargain. I honestly love all of these shoes but my favourite one has to be Number 6! One fact about me is that I LOVE wedged heels, they're so much easier and more comfortable to walk in. And in second postition goes to Number 2. I love that it has a dark maroon colour which is one of my favourite colours. However it has shoe laces which are always a hassle for me in shoes.
Sorry for the very short post today, if you want any suggestions for upcoming blog posts, please do leave me a comment!

 5- it's out of stock, sorry :(

Which boot was your favourite?

I ❤️ Autumn Tag

Hey guys, today's post is a bit different from what I normally do because I wanted to do something different on my blog other than fashion and beauty posts. I tagged myself to do his tag because I have no friends and I am a low-life (LOL).

1- Favourite thing about Autumn
Autumn is one of my favourite seasons after spring, the weather is not too hot nor too cold. But mainly I like to be cozy in my bed and watch Netflix movies and I can finally wear my fuzzy socks!

2-  Favourite beverage
Hot Chocolate without a doubt. I particularly like the Aero one. I like that it creates almost like a foam of bubbles at the top of the drink

3- Go to moisturiser
I use a lot of moisturisers, since the weather here in the UK is getting a bit chilly but I have two at the moment: Olay essentials and E45 Cream. I like that Olay essentials is really smooth and makes my face really soft and E45 cream is just the bomb. If you have really dry skin or you have a small pimple then just apply E45 and within a day your spot is removed.

4-  Favourite singer/band to listen to
I don't really change up my playlist but I do like to listen a bit of Taylor Swift; one of her old country songs, they're really nice and calming to listen to. I also like Lana Del Ray, her voice is amazing!

5-  Favourite scarf

This is my absolute favourite scarf, I really like the texture of it and the pattern of it. I can't remember where I brought it from however I do remember that it was fairly cheap. I also love the colour of this!

6- Favourite nail colour/polish

I think its fair to say that Emerald-y colour is my favourite for Autumn. I really like this ' Sinful Colours - Rise and Shine'. The formula for this however is not the best, but I really like the colour of this and that's all that matters. It only takes about 2 coats to get a perfect finish!

7- Favourite place to be
Definitely at home, in my bedroom or with the family. As I said earlier I really like being cozy in my bed watching a bit of Netflix with my Hot Chocolate!

Style Obsession : Ariana Grande

Hey there lovelies!
Who here loves Ariana Grande! I know I do, she's girly, she's got the cutest outfits and not forgetting her amazing voice! Her most well-known signature style/outfits are cute short dresses, or crop tops with a mini skirt, the perfect outfits really! Today's post, I'll be showing you 2 outfits that Ari is rocking! Also I show you Ariana's must have hair accessory - Bows
All outfits are taken from Ariana's Instagram.

This outfit shows her wearing a plain crop top, pairing it with a light pink mini skirt and some plain white stiletto heels. In almost every picture that I see of her, she has her signature hairstyle, half up, half down!

This picture was taken on the World wide day play!
Taken from Ariana's instagram!

When Ariana is rocking her signature hairstyle, she sometimes adds a small bow to make her outfit cute yet still stylish!

Thanks for reading!

Fall Wishlist

Hi there lovelies,

So I've been eyeing on a couple of things that I would like to buy... but I cant because some of them are just way too expensive, or some I just can't find the item anywhere!

1- Wedge trainers
2- Leather Jacket
3- Sea Leopard Pants
4- Nicole by OPI- Mermaid for each other
5-Khaki coat with fur hood
6- Blossom Scarf

1- I've had my eye on these for quite a while now, but since the weather has been surprisingly warm, these type of trainers/wedges weren't really suitable to wear in the summer because they can get a bit to hot. However since Autumn is right around the corner, these babies will be number one on my shopping list.

2- This biker leather jacket is £100... But I think it's worth that price. Firstly, it's from River Island ( what else can you expect from there ) and second it's genuine leather. I once bought just a normal average leather jacket and I don't even think it lasted for a month. However I probably wouldn't spend £100 on just a leather jacket, even if it real genuine leather. If you saw my Fall fashion trends post, then you saw that leather jackets are a must for the fall time.

3- The sea leopard pants are just so cute, they almost look like chinos and they've got this really nice blue sea leopard pattern, I would love it if they were in my closet right now. BUT, the very big but is that they are over £300..The chances that I will be buying these pants are 1 out of a million, unless I was a millionaire, then that would be a different story.

4- Mermaid for each other by Nicole by OPI is this really nice blue/green/gold colour, you can't really predict how it looks like. I can't seem to find this polish anywhere, but I found one at Target ( there are not Targets here in UK) but those of you who's country has got a Target there's a link for it.

5- I really like the colour of this coat and it looks so comfortable to wear In the cold, rainy days. I will probably be purchasing this later on when it really starts getting cold.

6- I love the pattern of this scarf, however I don't think that spending over £100 on just a scarf isn't really worth it. I think I would like to spend that £100 on something that's worth the price.

Bye!

Fall Trends 2013

Hey there beautiful! So its nearly September which means only one thing.. Fall time! Now some people don't like the winter, now I agree with you girl, I mean they don't want to be packing away all their summer dresses, their shorts, unless that is if you live in a country where it's still a bit warm even in the fall.

There are a lot of fashion items that we see on the runway that could be a great Fall fashion trend. But here are some trends that I love and tend to follow.

OVER-THE-KNEE-BOOTS
Picture from http://www.glamourmagazine.co.uk/
Over-the-knee boots are undoubtedly more wearable! Anything can be pulled off with a pair of booties. These type of boots would look great with a mini skirt and some leg warmers or some tights depending on the weather. You can also wear these with some jeans, they would just look perfect together!

SCARVES

If on some days you feel like just going casual and you just want to be comfortable then make sure you add a scarf to your outfit because honestly it just completes the look. It will make your outfit cuter yet still keeping your neck warm. A scarf can be paired with literally anything, a perfect example is the picture above showing a pair of leggings, a sweater and a scarf.

            BEANIE HATS

Beanies are a fashion statement for both men and women. It can be worn on a lazy, casual day or you can still wear it with a dress or a skirt which will make you look absolutely gorgeous! Beanies look way better when you have half of your fringe out. Beanie hats come in all different colors and patterns so make sure you have beanie hat in your wardrobe!

LEATHER JACKETS

Ditch the blazers and go for a leather jacket. Leather jackets just give your outfit that edgier look while still keeping you warm. Spankie Valentine, or URBANOGcom on YouTube, shows you six outfits on how to rock a leather jacket!

3 ways that Yogurt keeps skin looking glowing and smooth

Yogurt is a delicious multi-vitamin packed food that can be eaten at breakfast or just mainly eaten as a healthy snack! But did you know that yogurt is also great for your skin? Yogurt goes way back, in ancient times Indians used to apply yogurt to the face or skin to exfoliate the dead skin and gave them that amazing glowing and beautiful face!

1- Removing pimples and some of your acne
BEWARE pimples cuz yogurt has anti-bacterial properties, meaning that its goodbye pimples. To remove those blotchy disgusting pimples, all you have to do is get one tablespoon of yogurt (optional: you can add lemon if you want ) and then you just apply to the face. Let it sit for 10-15 mins and then rinse your face.

2- Moisturising
If you have ran out of moisturiser and you can't be arsed to get up and buy a new one, then yogurt is the answer to your problems! It's basically the same process as before but before rinsing your face, you'll realise that the yogurt has dried up, so start removing the yogurt with your hands in a circular motion so that the yogurt exfoliates the dead skin as well as leaving you with a soft glowing face. Then finally rinse it off and dry your face. Your face will be as soft as a baby's butt! :)

3- Treats sunburns
Too much time spent laying around the glowing sun? Well yogurt is the answer for you. Just dab a little bit of yogurt on to the harsh areas and leave it on for 25-30 mins before rinsing it off. The zinc in the yogurt helps to sooth and calm the harsh bite of the sunburn.

There you have it, 3 ways that yogurts keeps your skin glowing and gorgeous.
If you realise that you're facing red areas around your face or you're feeling itchy, please stop using the yogurt treatment as some people may be allergic to yogurt. But don't be sad, you can use other beauty treatment for the face such as  baking soda instead! :)

Butter London 'Slapper' - Mani of the week

Even though its mid August and we're at the brink of arriving to Autumn, there's still a bit of summer left and so i decided to embrace it ;so this week I decided to wear this, ' A truly teal nail lacquer, bold and very bright' as described by Nail Lacquer themselves! Butter London's 'Slapper' truly does what it is described as, its VERY bright and bold and i absolutely love this colour.
Slapper by Butter London

However, the price really was a slapper, coming at £12.00. But i do think that it was worth the budget
as applying this was so easy and it just glides on to your nails, plus its an amazing colour. The photo
above shows two coats of perfection!

The cheapest possible website that I could buy this was at Amazon.
